Danielle and I went to the drive-in last night and saw The Minority Report. I’ve read many positive reviews about this movie and even heard someone say The Minority Report made The Matrix look tame. How can you pass up a statement like that? So, we go see the movie. First of all, I don’t see how this movie could ever be compared to The Matrix. The Matrix is a movie that is worth seeing, over and over, again and again. I think Minority Report fell way below my expectations. I think the media is giving this movie too much hype. I also think Spielberg needs to know that sometimes, you just have to edit a movie. The movie had some potential but I think it could have been better. Definitely not the “Hottest Movie of the Summer” but definitely worth the $3.50 for Danielle and I to both see it. So the next time Benny tells me not to see something or that another movie is better, I will listen to him. Ben knows all.
