Beef, it’s not what’s for dinner
18 million pounds of beef recalled - “A recall of contaminated hamburger linked to E. coli bacteria illnesses among 19 people is being expanded to 18 million pounds and 21 states, the Agriculture Department said Friday.”
I am slowly pushing Vegan status. After reading Fast Food Nation, I can barely stomach the thought of meat and the whole process of how it arrived on my plate. The story of the person who was processed and packaged at the slaughterhouse and then consumed by however many people in Amerika, alone, is enough to keep me nibbling on carrots for the rest of my life.
