The Disturbing W
Here I am casually browsing the intrawebnetdotcom. When I went to type a web address into the address bar in Firefox, by accident I typed just a W and hit enter and well, a virgin eye surprise is in store! Try it and be disgusted and frightened!

What the hey? That works in FireFox but not in IE (Aiieee). How is that happening? The www.w.com domain doesn’t go there. A hidden trojan within FireFox? I’m gonna get to the bottom o’ this.

I think I’ve got a clue. W is the first hit on Google. FireFox does a Google on unknown resolved domains and automatically displays them.

I guess it pays to have a deep funding and spend it all on Google ads.

A-HA! Good work! It was starting to really irritate me because typically I type W in the add bar, push down and select (which typically is my MovableType login page) and 2 out of 5 times I ended up there.
I think I’m losing a little love for Google.
