I’ve been working on a new layout, which rather explains my lack of updating. Okay- that’s just a cheap excuse but it’s partially true. I suppose I’ll have the new layout finished eventually.
I’m currently listening to Nadia’s kickass radio show. Fun filled two hours of nonstop musical bliss. You must listen every Wednesday 2PM-4PM EST. That is a direct order.
For you 9/11 enthusiasts, I was emailed a link to 911Timeline.net which gives extensive minute-by-minute accounts from September 11. It’s quite a lengthy read but has some good links and what not.
I was looking up information for the upcoming Pearl Jam album (okay- I was looking for a pre-release…so shoot me) and happened upon an interesting article about pre-release albums on the internet. Apparently, they are shipping the promo CDs to reviewers already glued into walkmans. Amongst the albums apart of this are the new Pearl Jam and Tori Amos CDs. Who needs the RIAA when you have super glue!

I have just realized that it doesn’t matter which resolution or browser you use to view this page, it will indefinitely look like ass. I am going to redo the layout, perhaps to where it’s readable and not so sloppy in all browsers and resolutions.

Testing new webcam software. It actually streams. Let me know if it’s causing any problems (taking too long to load, stretching on the right side, etc.).

Okay, things are now separated according to entry and no more IP’s showing in the comments, a-la Benny’s input.

WhoNeedsOxygen.Net is now powered by MovableType. The installation was a success. The only thing missing is the old comments. I will add them as the week goes on. Danielle was a HUGE help with the process. She archived ALL the old entries.
Of course, you will notice there is not much of a difference now except keeping up with this web site is much easier for me now. Automatic archiving, comments are run off my own server, and most entries have been organized into specific categories at the end of each entry. MovableType is quite a powerful publishing system. I actually have quite a few ideas of other things I want to create with it.

I’m currently working on installing Movabletype. Well, I actually did install it and then my host switched my IP address and the whole installation was lost. I’m trying to concoct a way to import my archives. I suddenly regret doing this whole thing by hand. Anyhow, hopefully my next post will be with movabletype up and running. So whoneedsoxygen.net might be featuretastic by then. Of course, not as featuretastic as Bennyland.

Recently added link: Compulsive.org. Very nice site, so check it out.
I’m so beat tonight. The heat was horrendous today but thankfully I didn’t have to work thirteen hours in it, just seven.
On that note, I’m off to bed. I’m too tired for the computer tonight. Yes, I really did just type that.

Touched up the layout. Not quite sure how this looks in any other setup but 1024×768 and IE6, which it runs fine. So if your using something else to view this page and it looks really shitty, let me know so I can fix it.

I fixed the overlapping problem that people were experiencing in 800×600. How was I supposed to know 800×600 wasn’t extinct? Good news is you can read the middle content, bad news….it scrolls endlessly to the right. Something I’ll fix sometime in the very distant future.

Everything should be working now, I’m still working on several other things to add here. Major thanks go out to my Marketing Manager Kimmi and my Financial Assistant Director
Danielle, for without them this would have never been possible. Many thanks to Benny for supporting the site and offering to host me after VR9 bailed on me oh so suddenly. Ben’s the man, may I suggest buying him a drink?
hehe.
I feel very indifferent about this new layout. Do you think it’s possible to incorporate a few more shades of blue on here?
Ah, well, it’ll work for now. I’m still working on Kimmi’s page and a few other things so entries should start picking up once additional features are complete.
